RNDM ADHD / FREE COMPANION10 minutes / 2-minute fallback

Evening reset

Reduce tomorrow’s friction without turning tonight into a project.

Date:

01 / Mark the transition · 2 minutes

Choose a small signal that the active part of the day is ending: close a work tab, change clothes, or lower a comfortable light.

  • Choose one transition signal.
  • Write down an unfinished task instead of doing it now.

Tomorrow can hold this

02 / Reduce one friction · 3 minutes

Prepare one thing that will save effort later. One is enough.

  • Place keys, bag, or tomorrow’s needed item together.
  • Clear one useful spot, not the whole home.

The item / spot I chose

03 / Choose a softer landing · 5 minutes

Pick one low-demand option: music, a familiar page, quiet sitting, or a gentle stretch. If using a screen, choose a stopping point in advance rather than an endless feed.

  • Choose my wind-down option.
  • Choose a screen stopping point or put the device aside.

My option + stopping point

Fallback / Two minutes counts

If tonight has nothing spare: capture one unfinished thought, put one needed item within reach, and stop. No catching up required.

One thought to leave on paper

One thing within reach

This is a transition towards rest, not a sleep treatment or a guarantee. Choose what suits your household, schedule and access needs.
